AREA15 Debuts Eye Dropper, A New Vertical Drop Ride

Published September 8, 2026

AREA15 has a new ride. Eye Dropper is a vertical thrill ride built around rapid acceleration and controlled free-fall, and it is now running inside the district’s Zone 2 Terminals. Individual rides start at $12, or riders can add it to one of AREA15’s bundled experience passes. It is the latest addition to a Las Vegas venue that keeps expanding its attraction lineup outside the Strip’s usual show format.

What Eye Dropper Actually Does

Eye Dropper pairs a classic drop-tower ride with an art installation built around a glowing eye motif that is visible throughout AREA15. Riders are strapped in, lifted, and released into a controlled free-fall that AREA15 describes as built on speed, force and precision, with the ride’s g-force moments as the main draw. Riders must be between 4 feet and 6 feet 9 inches tall and weigh between 80 and 300 pounds, and the ride carries the usual restrictions for pregnancy, heart conditions and motion sensitivity. It joins a growing list of new attractions at AREA15 Las Vegas, which has added several new experiences to its lineup this year.

AREA15 Keeps Adding Attractions Beyond The Strip

Eye Dropper is not AREA15’s only recent addition. The district has been steadily filling out its 10-acre footprint with new tenants, following the same pattern that brought in experiences like Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, the surreal grocery-store-turned-art-installation that anchors much of AREA15’s original draw. Between a psychedelic drop ride and an art-installation grocery store, AREA15 has built a reputation as the district for visitors who want something stranger than a standard casino floor show.

Where Eye Dropper Fits On A Vegas Trip

AREA15 sits about ten minutes from the Strip, which makes it an easy add-on for a night that already includes a show. Riders should plan to arrive early if a specific pass tier matters, since AREA15’s terminals can get crowded once evening crowds start rotating through. For visitors weighing AREA15 against other only-in-Vegas attractions, the Las Vegas attractions lineup covers what else is worth adding to that same night out.

Book AREA15 Through Spotlight

Eye Dropper is one more reason to make time for AREA15 on this trip. Passes covering the district start at $35 through Spotlight.
