WrestleMania 42 takes over Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026. This is the second consecutive year Las Vegas hosts WWE’s biggest event, and only the second time in WrestleMania’s 42-year history that the same venue has held back-to-back editions. Last year’s WrestleMania 41 drew over 124,000 fans across two nights at this same stadium.
Thirteen matches are confirmed across two nights. CM Punk defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns on Sunday. Cody Rhodes puts the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Randy Orton on Saturday. The entire week surrounding the event fills Las Vegas with fan conventions, live TV tapings, comedy events, and independent wrestling shows.
If you are flying in for the weekend, this guide covers the full match card, the WrestleMania Week schedule, Allegiant Stadium logistics, and the best Las Vegas shows to fill the downtime between events.
WrestleMania 42 Saturday Matches
Seven matches are confirmed for Night 1 on April 18. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. PT. The live broadcast begins at 3 p.m. PT (6 p.m. ET).
Undisputed WWE Championship
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton, with Pat McAfee in Orton’s corner. Orton won the 2026 Elimination Chamber to earn this title shot, then turned on Rhodes the following week with a steel chair attack inside the ring steps.
Women’s World Championship
Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan. Morgan won the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble and chose Vaquer as her WrestleMania opponent. The rivalry has escalated across multiple confrontations on Raw.
Seth Rollins vs. Gunther
Gunther attacked Rollins on the March 30 Raw and made his intentions clear by pointing at the WrestleMania sign. Both are former world champions with something to prove on the biggest stage of the year.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship
AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch. Two of the most decorated women’s competitors in recent WWE history square off for the recently created title.
Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way
Nia Jax & Lash Legend (c) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Bella Twins. An interference from Brie Bella on SmackDown triggered this multi-team collision.
Unsanctioned Match
Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre. This grudge dates back to October 2025 when Fatu was written off television with an injury. Unsanctioned means no rules, no disqualification, and no limits on what either competitor can do.
Six-Man Tag Team Match
Logan Paul, Austin Theory & IShowSpeed vs. The Usos & LA Knight. IShowSpeed has been spiraling through WWE programming after a supposed curse from Danhausen. The popular streamer has cost Knight and the Usos several matches, pulling all six competitors into this WrestleMania showdown.
WrestleMania 42 Sunday Matches
Night 2 closes the weekend on April 19 with six matches and the biggest main event of the year.
World Heavyweight Championship
CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns. This is the headliner. Punk’s first WrestleMania championship defense comes against the man who held a world title for over 1,300 consecutive days. It is their first-ever singles match.
WWE Women’s Championship
Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley. Ripley won the women’s Elimination Chamber to earn a shot at SmackDown’s top women’s title. Both competitors are known for their power, and this has the potential to steal the night.
Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
Lesnar issued an open challenge for WrestleMania. Femi answered on the March 16 SmackDown with a Fall From Grace powerbomb that left Lesnar flat on the mat. One of the most intriguing generational matchups on the card.
Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
Penta (c) vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh vs. Rusev vs. Rey Mysterio. Six competitors, one title hanging above the ring. Mysterio made a surprise return on the April 6 Raw to add himself to the field.
Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio
The Judgment Day has fractured. Former stablemates settle it at WrestleMania.
United States Championship
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams. Williams earned his spot through weeks of confrontations on SmackDown.

WrestleMania Week Events Across Las Vegas
WrestleMania weekend is really WrestleMania week. Multiple events surround the two-night stadium show, spread across several venues.
WWE World Fan Convention
The five-day fan experience runs from April 16 through April 20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall. It features live panel discussions with WWE wrestlers, podcast recordings, meet-and-greet sessions, and the largest WWE merchandise store in WrestleMania history. New for 2026: Hulkamania Forever, a behind-the-scenes Gorilla Position walkthrough, and expanded autograph opportunities. Confirmed guests include The Undertaker, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Stephanie McMahon, CM Punk, and Nikki Bella.
SmackDown and the Hall of Fame
WrestleMania Weekend officially kicks off Friday, April 17 at T-Mobile Arena with the WrestleMania Edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony follows that same evening at Dolby Live at Park MGM. AJ Styles is a confirmed 2026 inductee.
Kill Tony at WrestleMania
After WrestleMania Saturday wraps at Allegiant Stadium, Tony Hinchcliffe hosts Kill Tony: WrestleMania at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The show starts at 9 p.m. PT, giving fans time to travel from the stadium. It features WWE Superstars, established comedians, surprise celebrity guests, and the rapid-fire open-mic format that has made Kill Tony one of the top live podcasts worldwide.
Raw After WrestleMania
Monday Night Raw airs live from T-Mobile Arena on April 20. This episode historically delivers surprise returns, new championship challenges, and the most unpredictable crowd reactions of the year.
WrestleCon and Independent Shows
WrestleCon runs April 16 through 19 at Horseshoe Las Vegas with four days of signings, meet-and-greets, and independent wrestling matches, including the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow. WWE also partners with local promotion Future Stars of Wrestling for a WWE ID Showcase at HyperX Arena on the Strip. Dozens of smaller indie promotions run events at bars, casinos, and venues across the city from Wednesday through Monday.
Getting to Allegiant Stadium
Allegiant Stadium sits at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, adjacent to Mandalay Bay.
Walking. The shortest route on foot goes through Mandalay Bay. Exit the resort from the rear and head toward the stadium. The walk takes roughly 15 minutes from Mandalay Bay’s lobby. From Luxor or Excalibur, add another 10 to 15 minutes.
Free Tram. A free tram connects Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. Take it to the Mandalay Bay station and walk from there. The tram runs frequently and avoids Strip traffic entirely.
Rideshare. Uber and Lyft have designated pickup and dropoff zones near the stadium. The local tip: skip the rideshare line outside Allegiant after the show. Take the free tram back to Excalibur and grab your ride from the casino. The wait is shorter and surge pricing tends to be lower away from the stadium.
Monorail. The Las Vegas Monorail runs from the MGM Grand northward. It does not stop at Allegiant Stadium, but it connects to the free tram system at MGM Grand. A day pass costs about $15.
Clear Bag Policy. Allegiant Stadium enforces a clear bag policy. Bags must be clear plastic and no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. If you arrive with a non-compliant bag, bag check stations are available on both sides of the stadium.
Parking. Stadium lots open several hours before bell time. Expect heavy traffic and slow exits after the show. If you do drive, plan to wait 45 minutes or more before clearing the lot.
Where to Stay for WrestleMania Weekend
Your best hotel depends on which events matter most to you.
Walking distance to Allegiant Stadium. Mandalay Bay and the W Hotel are the closest options on the Strip. You can walk to the stadium gates in about 15 minutes. Luxor and Excalibur are slightly farther but still connected by the free tram.
Close to T-Mobile Arena. MGM Grand, Park MGM, and New York-New York are each a short walk from T-Mobile Arena, where SmackDown and Raw take place. Park MGM also houses Dolby Live, the venue for the Hall of Fame ceremony and Kill Tony.
Near the Convention Center. Westgate Las Vegas sits directly across from the Las Vegas Convention Center, connected by a skywalk over the street. If you plan to spend significant time at WWE World, this is the most convenient location. The Monorail has a stop right outside Westgate, giving you a direct line south to the Strip.
Off-Strip on a budget. The Rio and Palms Casino Resort are west of the Strip near the I-15 highway on-ramp to Allegiant Stadium. A rideshare from either hotel reaches the stadium in about 10 minutes, often without the gridlock that builds along Las Vegas Boulevard.
Book early. WrestleMania weekend pushes room rates significantly higher than a typical April weekend. If you are checking what shows are playing tonight from your hotel after you arrive, you will also want a location that makes it easy to get around the Strip for evening entertainment.
Las Vegas Shows to See During WrestleMania Week
The stadium events fill two evenings, but WrestleMania week means several nights with no scheduled wrestling. Las Vegas runs dozens of resident shows every night of the week, and the best ones are worth building into your trip.
Absinthe at Caesars Palace is one of the most talked-about productions on the Strip, blending circus-level acrobatics with irreverent comedy in an intimate tent setting. Tickets start from $132.
“O” by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio is the flagship Cirque production, performed in and above a 1.5-million-gallon pool. It is the kind of show that does not exist anywhere else. Tickets start from $119.
For comedy, Penn & Teller at Rio deliver a mix of magic and sharp humor that plays differently from anything else in the city. Tickets start from $90. Comedy Cellar at Rio brings the legendary New York comedy club format to Vegas with rotating headliners. Tickets start from $41.
Blue Man Group at Luxor runs high-energy, percussion-driven performances that work well for groups. Tickets start from $60.
If you want to catch a concert during your trip, check the full lineup on Spotlight. Residencies and touring acts cycle through venues across the Strip every week, and availability changes often.
