Extreme Thing Festival’s 25th Anniversary Lands At Desert Breeze Event Center On March 20, 2027

Published October 7, 2026

Extreme Thing Sports and Music Festival is coming back to Las Vegas on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at Desert Breeze Event Center. It is the first edition since 2016, and it celebrates the festival’s 25th anniversary with 20 bands across four stages. General admission starts at $59.99 plus fees. Spotlight does not sell festival passes, but if you are flying in for the weekend, you can fill the rest of it with Punk Rock Brunch tickets from $37.

20 Acts, Four Stages, One Day At Desert Breeze

The festival sits at Desert Breeze Event Center, 8455 Kids Zone Parkway. The announced lineup includes The Interrupters, The Aquabats, Escape the Fate, The Ghost Inside, Carnifex and Bleeding Through, spread across four stages. Founder Brian Saliba told the Review-Journal the team knew it “had to go cater to two different generations.”

The festival’s own materials also promise extreme sports demonstrations, Freakshow Wrestling, a food truck village and a local band competition.

The festival fills one day, so the rest of your trip is open for shows.

Punk Rock Brunch Fits The Morning After

Punk Rock Brunch plays The Venue at Masquerade Village at the Rio, and its schedule currently lists Saturdays and Sundays, with doors at 10:30am and the show at 11am, for about two hours. The set leans on ’90s and 2000s punk, pop-punk and emo: Green Day, Blink-182, My Chemical Romance and The Offspring, with live vocals and choreography. Starting price is $37. The Sunday show, March 21, would land the morning after the festival, assuming the weekend schedule holds into 2027.

If your festival crowd skews toward heavier bands, Ikons of Rock covers the late-’70s and ’80s arena side: Kiss, Alice Cooper, Journey, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Van Halen. It plays The STRAT Theater at 7pm, 70 minutes, from $62, and ends with a meet-and-greet with the cast. Check the calendar for your exact date, since Spotlight lists a Tuesday-through-Sunday run today.

Plan Around Saturday, March 20

A stage-by-stage set schedule has not been published, so do not book anything tight on festival day. A few practical points:

  • Festival passes come from the organizers, so buy those separately from your show tickets.
  • Book Sunday, March 21 for the brunch or another daytime show, and keep Saturday night flexible.
