The Biggest Jam Band on the Planet Meets the Biggest Screen on Earth
Phish is back at the Sphere for nine shows spread across three consecutive weekends, from April 16 through May 2, 2026. Every single show is sold out. If you’re heading to Las Vegas during this window, prepare for a city running at full capacity, where Phish fans, WrestleMania crowds, festival-goers, and springtime tourists are all competing for the same restaurant tables and rideshare rides.
This is only the second band to ever headline the Sphere. U2 launched the venue with “UV Achtung Baby Live” in 2023, and Phish became the second act with a four-night New Year’s Eve run in December 2024. That run sold out instantly and became one of the most discussed concert experiences Vegas has produced. The 2026 return more than doubles the commitment: nine nights, three weekends, all gone before most fans could hit checkout.
Full 2026 Phish Sphere Schedule

What Happens Inside the Sphere During a Phish Show
The Sphere’s interior LED display is the largest on Earth, wrapping the entire audience in a single continuous screen with no edges and no breaks. For most concerts, this means pre-produced visuals timed to a setlist. For Phish, that approach would miss the point entirely.
Phish does not play setlists the same way twice. Jams stretch past 20 minutes and change direction without warning. Moment Factory, the studio behind the Sphere visuals, built a real-time rendering system using Unreal Engine that generates graphics on the fly, responding to what the band actually plays. When Trey Anastasio shifts a jam into uncharted territory, the screen shifts with him. The 2024 NYE run proved this technology works. The 2026 run is the full-scale version.
Weekend 1 is already in the books. Night 3 (April 18) drew Joe Walsh to the venue, and the band responded with “Walk Away” as a tribute. Setlists so far have covered the full spectrum: “Split Open and Melt,” “Down With Disease,” “Reba,” “You Enjoy Myself,” “AC/DC Bag.” Deep cuts sit next to arena staples. If you know Phish, you know the setlists alone generate their own conversation.
Your Vegas Trip During Phish Weekends
These three weekends are some of the busiest Las Vegas will see all year. Weekend 1 overlapped with WrestleMania 42, which drew over 106,000 fans to Allegiant Stadium across two nights. Weekend 2 lines up with the Sick New World festival on April 25 at Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Weekend 3 leads directly into Morgan Wallen’s two-night run at Allegiant Stadium on May 1 and 2.
Hotel rates spike when events stack like this. Book accommodations early, and consider a hotel on the north end of the Strip for walkable access to the Sphere.
For the nights you’re not at Phish, Vegas has you covered. Over 100 resident shows run on any given night, including The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere itself (from $123 on Spotlight), four Cirque du Soleil productions across the Strip, and headliner residencies from Kelly Clarkson (from $89), Rod Stewart (from $76), and Jerry Seinfeld (from $123). Check what’s playing this weekend to fill every night of your stay.
Phish Tickets Are Gone, But Your Vegas Calendar Shouldn’t Be Empty
All nine shows sold out after the December 2025 public on-sale. Resale tickets are circulating, but they’re priced accordingly.
Vegas does not stop because one show is sold out. Spring 2026 may be the deepest entertainment calendar this city has ever run. Browse the full concert lineup and lock in the shows you can still book right now.
