The immersive production takes its final bow October 10 after four years at Wynn

Wynn Las Vegas has set a closing date for Awakening. The resort confirmed the immersive production, narrated by Anthony Hopkins and staged by a 60-person international cast, will play its final performance October 10, ending a four-year run in the 1,600-seat Awakening Theater. Awakening tickets are on sale now through Spotlight for anyone who wants to catch it before it closes.

Four Years of Scale at the Awakening Theater

Awakening opened in November 2022, taking over the Awakening Theater from the long-running aquatic spectacle Le Reve, and spent four years as one of the Strip’s most ambitious immersive productions, part of what has drawn visitors to Wynn’s side of the Strip since it opened. Wynn has not said why the show is ending, only that a new production is expected to take over the same theater sometime in 2027. The resort’s track record in that room, first Le Reve, then Awakening, makes whatever comes next worth watching for.

Inside the Show Before It’s Gone

Awakening built its reputation on scale rather than a conventional cirque format: a rotating, transforming stage, a soundtrack scored specifically for the room, and an 80-minute runtime aimed at a broad, family-friendly audience with a 5-plus age recommendation. It sits in the same immersive-spectacle lane as Blue Man Group at Luxor, though Awakening leans harder on theatrical narrative than percussion and comedy. Tickets currently list from $82 at the Awakening Theater inside Wynn.

Two Months Left to See It at Wynn

With an October 10 closing date, visitors have roughly seven weeks to book before the show is gone for good. The production runs dark Wednesdays and Thursdays, so plan around those nights when picking a date. Anyone assembling a broader Strip itinerary can browse the rest of Spotlight’s Las Vegas production shows to pair it with something else in the same evening or trip.
