Backstreet Boys Play Sphere At 11:30 PM After The Las Vegas Grand Prix
Published October 13, 2026
The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix runs November 19 through 21, 2026, and the weekend now has an official ending. The Backstreet Boys headline the first F1 Afterparty at Sphere on Saturday, November 21, starting at 11:30 p.m. and running to 1 a.m. F1 and Sphere announced the pairing in July. One catch shapes everything about it: you cannot buy an afterparty ticket unless you already hold a three-day race ticket.
The Afterparty Runs Past 1 A.M.
Afterparty access is tied to race admission. Ticket holders can buy up to 10 afterparty tickets, and the add-on runs from about $116 for T-Mobile Zone holders and $162 for other fan zones. Bundled packages price higher, from roughly $925 for a T-Mobile general admission ticket with the afterparty, up to around $2,062 per person for a hotel, race, and afterparty package. There is no age minimum, but anyone under 18 should be with a guardian at that hour.
That structure is why the afterparty sells differently from a normal Sphere booking. It is an add-on to a three-day commitment, not a standalone concert ticket.
What Is On At Sphere Otherwise That Weekend
Sphere does not go dark for race weekend, and the room is running its own programming through the fall. Sphere show tickets cover The Wizard of Oz, which is playing the venue across the same months. If you are in town for the race and not holding a three-day pass, that is the straightforward way to see the building from the inside.
Worth knowing before you plan around it: Sphere sits behind the Venetian on Sands Avenue, and the circuit runs on Sands and Koval Lane, so the building sits right on the edge of the race footprint rather than away from it. Getting in and out on race night takes longer than a normal Saturday.
Saturday Night Is The Expensive One
Race weekend compresses three days of demand into one city, and Saturday carries the premium. If your schedule is flexible, arriving Thursday and leaving Sunday morning gets you the race and the afterparty without paying for the final night of the surge.
Fill the daylight hours away from the circuit. High Roller tickets put you 550 feet above the Strip, and the observation wheel is running normal hours all weekend even with the roads around it closed.
For the nights you are not at Sphere, Las Vegas shows this weekend covers what is on across the resort corridor.
One more timing note. The circuit closes Las Vegas Boulevard and the cross streets around it, with closures starting Wednesday the 18th and the last reopen early Sunday morning. Anything inside that footprint takes far longer to reach, so plan the nights you are staying near the track around the walk rather than the drive.
Book The Vegas Parts You Control
The rest of the trip is yours to plan, and the shows and attractions around the circuit are the parts you can still lock in now. Book those before race week, when the weekend crowds thin out what is left on both sides of the track.
