Metallica opens Life Burns Faster, their first Sphere Las Vegas residency, with a 24-show run starting October 1, 2026. The production runs through March 2027 in No Repeat Weekend clusters, meaning each weekend visit delivers a different setlist and different visuals on the Sphere’s interior LED canvas. It is one of the highest-volume rock bookings the venue has hosted since opening.

The No Repeat Weekends format means Metallica will not play the same set twice across consecutive shows in a given cluster. The Snake Pit VIP section places a limited number of general admission floor tickets directly in front of the stage, inside the main floor barrier.
