Luke Combs’ three-story Category 10 takes over the old Margaritaville space in October

Luke Combs’ Category 10 opens at Flamingo Las Vegas in October, filling the three-story space that held Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville until it closed in 2024. The 34,000-square-foot country bar, restaurant and music venue is the brand’s first Las Vegas location, built with Opry Entertainment Group and Caesars Entertainment. It lands on one of the busiest corners of the Strip, across from Caesars Palace and next door to the LINQ.

What Category 10 Brings To The Flamingo

The building runs three floors. Hurricane Hall, the ground-floor dining room, holds three bars plus a central stage and a dance floor sized for line dancing, with live acts booked daily and the brand’s free line dancing lessons. The Still, one level up, pours a bourbon list hand-picked by Combs and opens onto a patio with views over the cityscape. The Eye Rooftop caps the building with a DJ booth, a second dance floor and a covered bar looking up Las Vegas Boulevard. There is also a champagne bar called the Beautiful Crazy Women’s Lounge inside the first-floor women’s restroom. If you want country music on your trip and the bar is at capacity, Las Vegas country shows run nightly across the city.

A Nashville Bar Brand’s Second Act On The Strip

Category 10 started in Nashville, where the original took Best New Bar and Best Place to Dance honors. The Vegas build is the second location, and a third is planned for Orlando in 2027. It is also Opry Entertainment Group’s second country project on the Strip, following Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, which puts two Nashville-backed honky-tonks within a few blocks of each other. On the entertainment schedule alone, the Strip already runs a country topless revue at Harrah’s, a short walk from the new front door. X Country at Harrah’s pairs a nit-making country music with a full bar, four to six minutes on foot from Category 10.

Pairing A Flamingo Dinner With A Show Next Door

No cover charge has been announced for Category 10, which makes it an easy add-on rather than a ticketed night out. Eat on the first or second floor, then walk the property. The Flamingo Showroom is inside the same resort, so you can see a show without leaving the building. Piff the Magic Dragon tickets start at $45 in that room.
