REFLECTION Closed, but Country on the Strip Keeps Rolling
Carrie Underwood’s REFLECTION residency at Resorts World Theatre ended on April 12, 2025. Over 72 performances and three-plus years, the show drew more than 300,000 fans to the 5,000-seat venue. Underwood was the first headliner when the theater opened in December 2021, and she holds the record for the longest-running Las Vegas residency by a solo female country artist. No 2026 Las Vegas dates are on her schedule right now. But country music on the Strip did not leave with her.

From American Idol to Vegas Residency History
Underwood won Season 4 of American Idol in 2005 and has since collected eight Grammy Awards, 29 number-one singles, and over 95 million RIAA certifications. She is the highest-certified female country artist of all time. Her debut album, Some Hearts, moved the equivalent of 9 million copies, the best-selling solo female country debut in history.
REFLECTION was built from scratch for Resorts World Theatre. The 100-minute production featured 20 career-spanning hits, including “Before He Cheats,” “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” and “Something in the Water,” with staging designed around the venue’s production capabilities. Multiple runs sold out entirely. Beyond Vegas, Underwood performs NBC’s Sunday Night Football theme (13 consecutive seasons and counting) and currently sits on the American Idol judging panel alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.
For country fans heading to Las Vegas, Underwood’s departure leaves room, not a void. Check out Las Vegas country shows to see what lines up with your trip.
What Country Fans Can Book in Vegas Right Now
Blake Shelton is running his Live in Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace through May 2026, with tickets on Spotlight from $112. His setlists lean heavy on number-one hits, and the Colosseum’s 4,300-seat room puts every section close to the stage. For a late-night option with a country soundtrack, X Country at Harrah’s runs nightly with seats from $48.
Vegas also has a deep bench of las vegas tribute shows covering artists across genres, from rock legends to country. Kelly Clarkson, Underwood’s fellow American Idol winner, holds her own Caesars Palace residency with tickets from $89.
Underwood’s 2026 schedule includes concerts in Oklahoma, California, Montana, and Nashville, but no Las Vegas dates have been announced. If she returns, Resorts World Theatre would be the expected venue given its history with the REFLECTION production.
What This Means for Your Vegas Trip
With REFLECTION gone, the headline country residency on the Strip this spring is Blake Shelton. His May run at Caesars Palace overlaps with X Country’s nightly schedule at Harrah’s, so you can pair both shows on the same trip. Add Kelly Clarkson’s residency if you want a three-show weekend with two American Idol champions on one itinerary.
Use Spotlight to compare dates and prices with exact seat selection. The calendar view makes it simple to build a full trip around whatever week works for your schedule. Lock in the right las vegas show before the best seats sell out.
