Mary J Blige has spent three decades earning the title “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul.” Now she’s bringing all of it to Dolby Live at Park MGM. The Mary J Blige Las Vegas residency, “My Life, My Story,” opened in May with a 44-song setlist that covers her entire career from “Real Love” to “Good Morning Gorgeous.” That is more than double what most Vegas residencies attempt.

The show runs 20 dates from May through October 2026, with the next block starting July 10. Tickets on Spotlight start from $105.
What 44 Songs Actually Looks Like
Most Las Vegas residencies run 15 to 20 songs. Blige plays 44. The setlist opens with video messages from friends and collaborators before she walks out to “My Life,” then moves through every era of her catalog. You get “Real Love” and “Be Happy” from the early ’90s, “Family Affair” and “No More Drama” from the 2000s, and “Good Morning Gorgeous” from 2022. Nothing feels like filler because the catalog is that deep.
There is a piano segment where she puts on Elton-style glasses for “Deep Inside,” a virtual duet with the late George Michael on Stevie Wonder’s “As,” and a moment where she pulls a fan onstage to do the Mary bop during “Be Happy.” If you have been watching her perform on award shows for decades, this is the full, uncut version of that energy in a 5,200-seat room.

The Guest List Adds Another Layer
Method Man joins for their classic collaboration “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need.” Jadakiss and The LOX show up for a stretch of tracks that tilts the evening toward straight hip-hop. Blige also performs collaborations originally recorded with Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and The Notorious B.I.G., filling those parts herself or with archival audio.
The guest spots trace the history of New York hip-hop and R&B through one artist’s career. They give the show a live-event quality that a standard residency setlist does not match.
